Daytime and overnight rates
Our £130 emergency callout fee includes VAT, travel and the first hour on site from 7am–10pm. From 10pm–7am, a £60 including-VAT overnight supplement applies, making the callout £190 in total. Weekends and bank holidays follow the same time window.
Parts required
Simple repairs use parts we carry on the van. Complex repairs may require next-day parts — we'll make the property safe and return to complete.
Extent of damage
A burst pipe that has flooded a kitchen takes significantly longer to address than a dripping joint. We quote the full scope before starting work.
The Ipswich 2-hour guarantee
For an eligible Ipswich emergency callout, the callout fee is waived if we arrive outside the guaranteed period and no published exclusion applies. Other areas receive a response estimate before dispatch.
Are there hidden callout fees?
No. The emergency callout is £130 including VAT from 7am–10pm or £190 including VAT from 10pm–7am. Both include travel and the first hour on site. If anything beyond that is needed, we quote and agree it with you before starting.
Do you charge more at weekends?
Weekends and bank holidays follow the same time window: £130 including VAT from 7am–10pm, or £190 including VAT from 10pm–7am.
What if I only need advice?
We'll advise on the phone for free. If a visit is needed, the £130 daytime or £190 overnight emergency callout applies and includes travel plus the first hour on site.
Does insurance cover emergency plumber costs?
