Underfloor Heating Installation Norfolk — Warm Floors, Lower Bills.

We design and install wet and electric underfloor heating systems across Norfolk — in new builds, extensions, and retrofit projects.

Wet underfloor heating systems

Wet UFH circulates warm water through pipes beneath the floor. More efficient than electric for whole-room heating, and compatible with heat pumps and condensing boilers. Ideal for new builds and large extensions.

Electric underfloor heating

Electric UFH mats are fast to install and ideal for single rooms, especially bathrooms and kitchens. Raises floor height by just 3–4mm. We fit thermostatically controlled, humidity-sensing systems.

Retrofit underfloor heating

Many people assume UFH is only for new builds. Modern low-profile wet systems can be retrofitted in existing homes with minimal floor height gain. We survey your property and advise honestly.

Smart thermostat controls

All our UFH installations include programmable or smart thermostat controls. Zone each room independently. Compatible with Hive, Nest, and most major smart home systems.

Is underfloor heating expensive to run?

Wet UFH with a modern condensing boiler or heat pump is typically 15–25% cheaper to run than traditional radiators. Electric UFH costs more per kWh but has negligible installation cost.

Can underfloor heating replace radiators completely?

Yes, in most cases. We calculate the heat output required for each room and design the pipe layout accordingly. Some very poorly insulated rooms may need supplementary heating.

How long does installation take?

A single room electric system takes 1–2 days. A whole-house wet UFH installation typically takes 5–10 days depending on floor type and property size.

What floor coverings work with UFH?

Tile, stone, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), and engineered hardwood work best. We advise on minimum TOG ratings and compatible floating floor systems.
