Burst Pipe Norwich — Emergency Response 24/7.

Burst pipe response is our most urgent callout. We isolate the supply, contain the damage, and carry out a permanent repair — all in one visit where possible.

Immediate isolation

The first priority on a burst pipe is stopping the water. We locate your stopcock, isolate the supply, and assess the extent of the damage before any repair work begins.

Freeze-kit repair

Where draining the system would take too long, we use freeze-kits to isolate just the burst section and carry out an immediate repair without affecting the rest of the property.

Permanent pipe repair

We repair burst copper, plastic, and push-fit pipework using like-for-like or upgraded materials. Pressure tested before we leave — every time.

Burst external pipes

External pipes and outdoor supply lines are more vulnerable in freezing temperatures. We repair and insulate to prevent recurrence, or advise on permanent frost protection.

What should I do immediately if a pipe bursts?

Turn off the mains stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink or where the supply enters the property). Open all cold taps to drain the system. Then call us immediately.

What is a freeze-kit and how does it work?

A freeze-kit uses CO2 or liquid nitrogen to freeze a section of pipe, creating a solid ice plug either side of the burst. This lets us repair the burst section without draining the whole system.

Will you provide a report for my insurance?

Yes. We provide a written report including the cause, location, method of repair, photographic evidence, and pressure test results. Most insurers accept our reports.

How much does a burst pipe repair cost?

Emergency callout: £150–£300 depending on time of day. Repair cost depends on the extent of damage but most single-point burst repairs are £200–£500 all-in.
