Bathroom Installation Cost Guide for Norfolk Homes 2026
Real bathroom renovation costs from real Norfolk projects in 2026. No national averages — just what we actually charge.
What we charged for a standard bathroom in 2026
Three-piece suite replacement in same layout, partial retile, new thermostatic shower: £5,200. Strip-out and full renovation with new tiling, wet room, and designer fixtures: £9,800. En-suite creation from a bedroom corner: £6,400.
Labour vs materials split
For a typical £6,000 bathroom renovation, roughly 55% is labour and 45% is materials. Premium fixtures increase the materials proportion. Complex layouts increase the labour proportion.
What adds cost
Moving toilet or bath to a different wall: +£500–£1,200. Large-format tiles (more wastage and cutting): +£300–£600. Wetroom tanking instead of shower tray: +£800–£1,500. Underfloor heating: +£400–£800.
What saves cost
Keeping to the existing layout. Choosing standard-size tiles. Supplying your own fixtures (we fit trade-supplied or customer-supplied). Booking during our quieter winter period.
Getting the best quote
Ask for a fixed-price quote (not a day-rate estimate). Confirm waste disposal is included. Confirm tiling, electrics, and plastering are included or quoted separately. Get at least two quotes.
