Water filter installation in Norwich

Norwich sits in one of the hardest-water parts of the country, and plenty of households keep a cupboard full of bottled water as a result. An under-sink water filter changes that: filtered drinking water straight from its own tap, no lugging bottles home, no countertop clutter. We fit under-sink filter and reverse osmosis systems across Norwich and the surrounding towns — including systems you have bought yourself online — and we leave the cupboard cleaner than we found it.

What we fit

  • Under-sink drinking water filters (carbon and multi-stage)
  • Reverse osmosis systems, including tankless units
  • Dedicated filtered-water taps — including smart taps that display filter life
  • Replacements and upgrades to existing filter systems
  • Plumbed-in water supplies for American-style fridge freezers

Bought a system online? We'll fit it

Waterdrop, Osmio, or anything similar — if you have bought a filter system online and it is still sitting in the box, that is a normal day for us. We fit customer-supplied systems, check your cupboard space and water pressure, and we will tell you honestly if a system is not right for your setup.

How installation works

  1. You tell us which system you have (or want) — the price is agreed before any work starts
  2. We fit a small feed valve under the sink, mount the unit, run the tubing and fit the dedicated tap — often the tidiest part of the job
  3. We flush the system through, check every joint, and walk you through using it

Most installs are completed in a single visit.

Filter changes without the faff

Every system needs its cartridges changing eventually — on most systems that is every 6 to 12 months, and smart taps tell you when. Ask about our filter-change reminder service: we keep track of your system and get in touch when filters are due, so you never drink past a spent cartridge.

Recent install: a Waterdrop system with a smart tap

A recent job in Wymondham: a Waterdrop under-sink system with its own dedicated tap — the little display on the tap shows when each of its three filters (F1, F2, F3) is due for replacement. The tap runs alongside the existing mixer, so normal washing-up carries on as before.

Water filters and water softeners: the quick version

A drinking-water filter improves what comes out of one tap; a water softener treats hardness across the whole home. Many homes benefit from both, and it depends what bothers you most — taste, kettle limescale, or the shower screen. Not sure which you need? Ask us before you buy anything.

Can you fit a filter system I bought myself?

Yes — customer-supplied systems are a regular job for us. Tell us the make and model when you book.

Does an under-sink filter need electricity?

Most under-sink carbon and multi-stage systems do not. Some reverse osmosis units use a pump. We will confirm for your specific model before the visit.

Will it fit under my sink?

Most under-sink systems are designed for standard cupboards. We check space, access and waste pipework before fitting, and we will say so honestly if it will not go in.

How often do filters need changing?

It depends on the system and how much water you use — many are every 6 to 12 months. Smart taps track it for you, and our reminder service covers the rest.

Does a water filter remove limescale?

Drinking-water filters improve taste and reduce impurities at the tap they serve; they do not soften the whole house. If limescale is your main gripe, ask us about the options before you spend.

How much does installation cost?

It depends on the system, the tap and the cupboard. We agree the price with you before any work starts — the same as every job.
